Gor Mahia CEO Lordvick Aduda has confirmed the team arrived safely in Algiers for tommorow’s Caf Confederation Cup match against USM Alger.
Aduda gave a word after they landed in Algiers from Morocco.
“The team arrived yesterday at 3pm in Casablanca, Morocco. Since they don’t give Visas at the airport, the team could not leave the airport so Air Maroc arranged for the team to stay in the lounge within the airport,” the CEO told the club’s official website.
Aduda went ahead to dismiss rumours that are sizzling in the air that the team got stranded in Morocco up to now.
“Alternative Fly in Hotel with only 20 rooms within the airport was full and couldn’t accommodate the 21 of us. Nobody was stranded as is being rumoured. Our flight was today at noon which took off as scheduled and we landed in Algiers as expected.”
Gor Mahia will be taking on USM Alger tommorow at 4pm in a crucial Group D match.
