Ambrose Rachier: Gor chairman for four years

It was a battle no-one would want to challenge as the new Club constitution put stiff guidelines, setting qualification much higher.

The incumbent remains on the Chairman seat for the next four (4) years after he went unopposed as aspirants presented their papers to the Electoral board on Friday 17th July 2020.

With two slots gone unopposed and two posts to contest as per the new Club’s law, Gor Mahia FC fans will go to the online polls to elect Vice Chairman and Treasurer.

Mr. Rachier has been in the helm of K’Ogalo leadership for the last ten (10) years, winning three elections. His greatest achievement in stamping authority in the local league and regular continental appearances.

Gor Mahia has won 7 KPL titles, 5 Super cup titles and 2 Top8 cups among other domestic cups.

With a lean office and a plan to set-up a functional secretariat, Mr. Rachier promises K’Ogalo followers to do things differently.

The outgoing office had 11 Executive Committee members.
