After a convincing win against Sofapaka on Sunday, Gor Mahia have turned focus to Nzoia Sugar for a midweek game to be played at the Mumias Complex on Wednesday 15th, 2019 at 3:00 pm.

A win for K’ogalo in this game will mean they are the KPL 2018/19 Champions and retain the Trophy once again after three consecutive wins.

Retaining another League title will leave K’ogalo with a record of 3 trophies retained (1983,1984,1985: 2013,2014,2015: 2017,2018,2019).

A game against Nzoia at the Mumias Complex brings back memories of mixed fortunes. Gor Mahia lost 1:0 on the 28th August 2016 during a GoTV Shield match against Nzoia.

K’ogalo went back to Mumias complex on a KPL mission on the 14th of May 2017 to defeat the Western millers 1:0, a goal courtesy of former forward Meddie Kagere.

With 66 points on its KPL basket, Gor Mahia is only one win away from the KPL title.
