Gor Mahia smoked a 2-0 lead at half break to draw 2-2 against Rayon Sports of Rwanda in the on-going Cecafa tournament in Tanzania today.
Striker Jaques Tuyisenge opened the score sheet with a cool finish on the 33rd minute.
In what was viewed as a balanced match, midfielder Humphrey Mieno doubled the lead on the 40th minute to give Gor Mahia the lead at half time.
Rayon Sports pushed harder on the 64th minute, their efforts paid off when they pulled one back through a spot kick.
Just when Gor Mahia thought they had pulled a win over their opponents, an equalizer came on the 88th minute and Rayon side went on to hold on the draw to the final whistle.
