Bernard Odhiambo was signed from Nakuru All Stars in January 2015.
He is a younger brother to former Gor Mahia defensive hard rock David Owino.
Odhiambo started honing his football skills as a young boy at Nakuru based St. Josephs FC, later featuring in the Nationwide League. From there he begun his journey to the top flight Kenya Premier League, making his mark at Kakamega Homeboyz in 2013. He would be on the move again mid-way through, heading back to his hometown Nakuru to sign for Division One side Nakuru All Stars.
The team earned promotion to the premier league for the 2014 season and with it the defender came into the limelight. He was a regular starter in the Nakuru All Stars line-up and played a crucial role in the team's 2-0 dream victory over Gor Mahia. Even though his side failed to secure the big league status the following season, the uprising center back had demonstrated that he has all the qualities to become a star performer over the coming years and the club can count amongst their ranks one of the most promising defenders.
His aerial dominance and keen defensive ability together with a fantastic work ethic will definitely steer his much desired break through into the first team and learning the ropes under his senior experienced team mates can only make him better. The central defense is his preferred placing but can also drift right into full back duties.
He has earned call-ups for both the junior Harambee Stars U20 (2014) and U23 (2015) and the senior Stars too in 2014.
