Gor Mahia unveilled twelve new signings ahead of the new season 2017 kick-off during an event held on Friday night at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi.
The event, merged with the official launch of the Gomma Lotto, saw the unveiling of among others the 2016 KPL Most Valuable Player (MVP) Kenneth Muguna and one time Rwanda national team (Amavubi) captain Jean-Baptiste Mugiraneza.
While the club generally acquired youthful signings, the most notable names on the inbound list were those of midfielders Teddy Osok and Alpha Onyango, the duo having featured for the club in the December edition of the KPL U20 tournament the saw Gor Mahia U20 finish third. Whereas the later is still a student at Kakamega High School and will not actively feature for the side just yet, the move to secure his signature is an indication of the underlying potential.
