Kagere's superb strike against Leopards saves the day

A quick response by Meddie Kagere in the first half of "Mashemeji" Derby levelled the score as AFC Leopard showed resilience in a spectcular match played ate Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday 27th August 2017 at 3PM.

AFC Leopards had gotten into the lead in the 20 minutes of first half when Captain Musa Mohammed turned the ball into his own net in an attempt to clear away a low hard shot from Samuel Ndung’u.

But in immediate response, k'Ogalo piled pressure and result were evident when Kagere drew the sides level, taking advantage on a slip by AFC defender Robinson Kamura as he tried to clear a pass from Muguna. The skilled striker just picked his spot to convert calmly taking the crowd to a thunderous applause and celebrations.
