Carlos Manuel is the new K’Ogalo head coach

KPL giants Gor Mahia has confirmed the Portuguese Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto as their new head coach for the next two (2) years.

The 47-year-old replaces Brazilian Roberto Oliveira. The former Rayon Sports head coach was barred from leading the team in CAF competitions owing to his qualifications.

Carlos is expected to be part of the handful of fans that will watch the team in action against Kariobangi Sharks at the MISC Kasarani on Sunday in their Kenyan Premier League tie.

He arrives day after Gor Mahia were paired alongside Zambia side Napsa Stars in the CAF Confederations Cup last qualifying round after being bundled out of the CAF Champions League; the tactician hoping that he can guide the club to the group stage of the competition.
