Gor Mahia Will face Sofapaka this afternoon at the Moi Stadium – Kisumu.

A win for Gor will see them widen their lead at the KPL summit on their road to winning another league title.

Tuyisenge and Lawrence fitness

Striker Jacques Tuyisenge will have to pass a last-minute medical check-up to be included in today’s crunch tie against Sofapaka. Tuyisenge picked up an injury and missed the mid-week fixture against Chemelil.

Midfielder Lawrence Juma too will have to get a medical nod to be considered for a place in today’s match day team.

Gor Mahia’s tactician may employ the 4-4-2 formation,this is expected to pile pressure for early openings. This will mean having Ernest Wendo and Kenneth Muguna to take charge of matters in the midfield as Francis Kahata and Samuel Oyango spray passes to supply strikers from the flanks.
