Good news as SportPesa resumes operation in Kenya

Former giant sponsor of Kenya undisputed champions Gor Mahia Sportpesa is back and has officially resumed its operations.

The gaming firm was the main sponsor of Gor Mahia before leaving after legal challenges with the Government halted their operation.

On their social media pages, the firm announced they are delighted to resume operation in Kenya.

The firm was also the main sponsor of K’Ogalo arch-rival AFC Leopard and the Kenya Premier League (KPL)

In his post on social media, the firms CEO Captain Ronald Karauri was happy to have the firm back under the new Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB) license.

“SportPesa is back! I’m happy to announce that the SportPesa brand is back under a new BCLB license holder. https://ke.SportPesa.com“, Karauri posted.

SportPesa have been operating in Tanzania, being the main sponsor of Tanzania soccer giants Simba SC and Young Africans SC (Yanga)
