Gor Mahia has left Algeria and is expected to land home tomorrow 29th December 2020 at 6.30 am.
The team checked out from the hotel at mid-day and went straight to Algiers Airport to board the chartered plane to Doha – Qatar then connect to Jomo Kenyata Airport by Qatar Airways.
reportedly, there was a technical hitch at the hotel as the team could not leave due to some uncleared hotel bills, but the issue was quickly sorted out thanks to K’Ogalo followers and x-officials who moved swiftly to rescue the situation.
“Yes there was some uncleared bill at the hotel, but we moved in swiftly to sort it out”, former club’s CeO Lordvick Aduda told Gor Mahia news team.
“We had to talk to our host to intervene as the situation was going word. Talked to our host through their President and everything was sorted out on time”, Aduda added.
Also in the line to sort out the issues was Gor Mahia Augmentin Fund group (GMAF) who released a substantial about of cash to assist in the situation.
The team will not rest due to the tight schedule of games both local and continental (FKFPL and CAF CL)
