Gor Mahia through their CEO Lordvick Aduda have appreciated the support offered by Kisumu County governor Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o during their stay in the Lakes side City.
Aduda said that the good support in which the governor hosted the team for three nights helped the club.
“We thank the county Government of Kisumu under the able leadership of Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o for the support the county extended to the team for paying for the three nights accommodation while in Kisumu for the last two matches against Posta Rangers last Friday and against Homeboyz that was played today,” the CEO told the official Gor Mahia website.
“We are currently faced with a congested fixture both in the local league as well as the continental engagements which comes with a lot of financial requirements, such good gestures must be appreciated, particularly at a time when the club is making arrangements to host Rayon on Sunday and prepare to travel to Algiers in less than two weeks time,” he added.
Gor Mahia played two matches in Kisumu and harvested maximum points against Posta Rangers and Kakamega Homeboyz.
The next league fixture Gor Mahia will be hosting Chemelil Sugar on Thursday at Afraha stadium in Nakuru.
