Friends of Gor Mahia from Homa Bay County offered their support to the club by chipping in to help acquire part of the new season’s kits.
Led by Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti, the friends presented their bit to the club’s chairman Ambrose Rachier at a hotel in Nairobi.
Also present were other club’s official Sally Bolo, Francis Wasuna and John Pesa.
The club’s treasurer Sally Bolo stated that the club is in the process of shipping a consignment with replicas for fans and kits for the playing unit.
“We are in the process of getting full kits for the team as well as the replicas for fans and once we have them, there will be an official launch after which fans will be able to buy them,” the treasurer told Gor Mahia website.
The support comes just hours to a big league match against AFC Leopards tomorrow at Kadarani stadium.
