
After a successful trip to Kisumu where Gor Mahia played two league matches and collected maximum points, gears are shifting to SportPesa Shield tournament where they will face Kenpoly in round of 32 in Machakos tommorow (Wednesday 20th June 2018) as from 3pm.
The Shield fixture was confirmed by club’s CEO Lordvick Aduda.
“We will be playing in Machakos on Wednesday against Kenpoly in the SportPesa Shield tournament. This is a tournament we are keen on and our aim remains the same – to win matches,” Aduda told Gor Mahia website.
In the first round, Gor Mahia knocked out SS Assad of Mombasa with a 5-1 win at Mbaraki grounds in Mombasa.
After the Shield match, Gor Mahia will be in Nakuru on Saturday to face Ulinzi Stars in league match.
A win is inevitable today in Machakos against Kenpoly. All the best Kogalo Sikal.
