After going down to Thika United over the weekend, Gor Mahia will be hosting Ulinzi Stars in league tie in Machakos tommorow (Wednesday).
It will be the 30th league match for Gor Mahia and the second encounter against the soldiers this year.
Ahead of the upcoming encounter, Gor Mahia are leading the table with 71 points after 29 games with a goal difference of +42 while Ulinzi Stars are placed fourth on the log – 24 points a drift the leaders after 30 games with a goal difference of +10.
In the last seven league meetings, Gor Mahia have had the better side of Ulinzi – winning four matches with the other three ending in draws.
In the process, Gor Mahia have scored eight goals and conceded just a paltry two against their opponents.
The trend has been one nil spare for 2015 and 2018 first leg matches when Gor Mahia won by two goals to nil. All the draws have been goalless apart from 2017 first leg when it ended in a two all draw.
The tickets for the match will be available in Machakos around the stadium as confirmed by Gor Mahia treasurer Sally Bolo.
“The match tickets which will retail at Sh500 for VIP and Sh200 for Terraces will go on sale tommorow (on the match day),” Bolo told the official Gor Mahia website.
“One selling point will be near Terraces Gate and the other point will be near the VIP Gate,” she added.
The kick Off time has been rescheduled from 3pm to 2pm as confirmed by Gor Mahia CEO Lordvick Aduda.
“Tomorrow’s match (Gor Mahia versus Ulinzi) will kick off at 2pm not at 3pm as earlier scheduled. That’s the latest communication we have received from Kenyan Premier League,” noted Aduda.
