Gor Mahia went down 2-1 to Ryon Sports of Rwanda in Caf Confederation Cup match at Kasarani on Sunday.
The visitors took an early lead two minutes into the match. Gor Mahia got an equalizer on the 22nd minute when Francis Mustafa raced past Rayon defenders to slot in the ball past the keeper. The game went to the break with scores reading 1-1.
In the second half, Rayon took the lead again on the 55th minute through Erick Rutanga’s well worked free kick that beat Shaban Odhoji – a goal that made the difference as it turned out to be the decider, helping Rayon win 2 -1.
