K’Ogalo were reduced to 10 men after assistant captain Joash Onyango was shown a straight red card in the early minutes of the first half. This made head coach do an early substitution, pulling out Nicholas Kipkirui and bringing in Joachim Oluoch to consolidate the defense.
Nicholas Kipkirui missed a chance to put K’Ogalo on the lead in the third minute of the game after he poorly controlled Clifford Miheso through-pass in Western Stima box.t
Right-back Geoffrey Ochieng was on the spot seven minutes later after he collected the ball from his own half, sprinting past Stima defense and feeding Miheso in the left-wing, but Miheso’s cross could only be headed wide by Geoffrey.
Second half and Clifton Miheso was on the scoreline, giving K’Ogalo the desired lead in the 48th minute. Miheso fired low past Stima’s goalkeeper. Bur W. Stima restored parity with a chip past Boniface Oluoch.
The draw leaves Gor Mahia four points clear atop the Kenyan Premier League table.
