Gor Mahia will be in another KPL encounter in the midweek battle, this time against Chemelil Sugar in Kisumu.

It is a tough week for Hassan Oktay’s boys, with back to back fixtures against some teams in the KPL title chase.

In line after Chemelil will be Sofapaka who face k’Ogalo on Sunday 12th, April 2019 at the Moi Stadium Kisumu. Sofapaka is second to Gor Mahia in the title chase with 53 points.

With a barren draw from their last match against Western Stima, Gor Mahia will do all they can to register a win against Chemelil Sugar and cement their place at the top of the KPL log.

K’Ogalo’s past record against Chemelil is very good, with Gor winning most of the ties.

Also absent due to injuries is left back, Shafik Batambuze who picked up an injury against Ulinzi Stars at the Afraha Stadium – Nakuru, but Geoffrey Ochieng’ will be available for selection.
