Return leg test for K’Ogalo against Vihiga United

Reigning champions Gor Mahia will be in the Western region on Thursday 27th to face Vihiga United and FKF PL midweek clash at Mumias Complex.

K’Ogalo will face the Kakamega side courteously owing to their resilience to upset the defending champions as witnessed in their first leg in Kasarani where Gor Mahia lost 0-1 goal courtesy of  Denis Wafula (read Gor fall to Vihiga United).

With current good form after league resumption, Gor Mahia is facing the opponent with the aim to bag three points on Thursday 27th May 2021. Awin will push the reigning champions to 5th position on the league table with 28points.

With a full-house in the camp. the head coach Carlos Manuel Vaz Pinto will beat ease to select a strong side to counter the opponent. Pinto believes commitment abe good organization on the team will yield a good result

“All games are difficult and we must face them (Vihiga) with commitment, organization & the concentration all opponents deserve. We are determined to win.” Pinto said.

Striker Tito Okello is expected to be at the starting line-up after a good run in the last three matches. Also expected to be on the line of duty are Clifton Miheso Kenneth Muguna and Ernest Wendo commanding the midfield.

Captain Haron Shakava ia confidentahead of thr match and have assured followere of a victory in todays match.

“It’s going to be a tough match because we lost to them in first the leg, but we are ready today and we are going for a win”, Shakava told the news team
