Former Gor Mahia captain and defender Harun Shakava is back in the den after penning down a two-year contract. The defender moved to Zambian side Nkana FC in July 2019.
The respected defender joined K’Ogalo in 2013 from Kakamega Homeboyz and played a significant role, winning five KPL titles among other domestic and including the KPL Top 8 and Super Cup.
Shakava featured in Continental assignments, helping the team to reach the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals in 2018
The Kenyan international took over the armband duties from Musa Mohammed in 2018 when his defensive partner left for KF Tirana. His jersey number remains No. 18.
Also signed at the den is Abdul Karim Nikiema Zoko from Burkina Faso who has also signed a two-year contract. The former Gandzasa Kapan FC midfielder will join the midfield team of Kenneth Muguna, Ernest Wendo, Alpha Onyango among others.
K’Ogalo is using the mid-season transfer window to strengthen the squad ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup and FKF Premier League.
