The match was earlier rescheduled to Saturday 1st December but after the two clubs agreed, Sunday was seen as an appropriate day and venue be at Kasarani as opposed to Machakos as earlier planned.
The changes were confirmed to the official Gor Mahia website by the club’s chairman Ambrose Rachier and Treasurer Sally Bolo.
“We had a talk with Kariobangi Sharks last night and we agreed we better have the match on Sunday at Kasarani,” said Rachier.
The two teams will be traveling to away CAF assignments on Monday as indicated by the treasurer. “Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks are having their traveling plans to away matches on Monday and Sunday is good with us being that the match will be played in Nairobi,” Bolo noted.
Gor Mahia are the holders of the Super Cup title and it will be the first time the two sides will be meeting in such a fixture.
