Gor Mahia assistant coach Zedekiah “Zico” Otieno says he is happy with the team’s preparations ahead of the CAF confederations cup quarter final match on Sunday 7th April at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani against Moroccan side RS Berkane.
During an interview with the club’s media team “Zico” assured fans of a good result.
“We have played a significant number of North African teams this season in our CAF matches and we have learnt valuable lessons along the way” Zico added.
Gor Mahia have played Esperance of Tunisia, Zamalek of Egypt, USM Algiers and NA Hussein Dey of Algeria all from North Africa.
K’ogalo needs a convincing win at home against Moroccan side RS Berkane at the Moi International Sports Centere Kasarani on Sunday to have a realistic chance of going beyond the quarter final stage.
